Teresa C. Evans

  Teresa Evans is a partner in the family law practice of McClure Duffee & Eitzen LLP, which serves clients in Dallas, Collin, Tarrant and the surrounding counties.  Her cases include complex and amicable divorce cases, premarital agreements, modification actions, enforcement actions, termination actions, adoptions and collaborative law cases.  She also handles cases involving business litigation involving service contract disputes and landlord tenant issues.

Born in Palm Beach, Florida on November 8, 1975, Teresa received her Bachelors from the University of Florida in 1997 and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law in 2000, which she completed in 2 1/2 years.  She was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2001 and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Teresa is a member of the American Bar Association (Sections: Family and Natural Resource Law); State Bar of Texas (Family Law); Dallas Bar Association (Sections: Family Law and Committees: Bench Bar Conference, Law Day (Vice Chair 2007) Entertainment (Chair 2006, Vice Chair 2005) and Pro Bono Golf Tournament); Annette Stewart American Inn of Court (Associate member since 2006); Dallas Association of Young Lawyers (member since 2003); College of the State Bar of Texas (member since 2006); Junior League of Dallas (since 2003); Park Cities Professional Women (member since 2006); Dallas Gator Club (member); La Fiesta De Las Seis Banderas (member since 2006); Dallas Alumnae Chapter of Delta Delta Delta (member since 2001).

She is a volunteer with the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, Dallas Court Appointed Special Advocates (Dallas CASA) and Legal Aid of North West Texas.

Teresa practices in the areas of Family Law and Business Litigation. Teresa clerked for the Pro Se Program of the 11th Judicial Circuit in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
